This sweet newborn baby boy wanted to be awake the whole session! About 2 hours in, he gave up and fell asleep! Awake or asleep, he is perfectly adorable, G&S!

Three weeks old and good as gold! The newborn rush continues this month! Big thanks, Mom & Dad, for letting me try out the Chinese Water Bucket! It came out as lovely as I envisioned! And look at her beautiful eyelashes in number 3!

Sometimes, my favourite shot of the newborn session happens right at the end. Mom picked Baby N up from the beanbag to go and dress him and the pose was so adorable, I had her stop so I could capture it. Isn't he perfect?

A few posts back, I introduced the Madi Couture Model Search. I asked for amateur photo submissions of girls between 4-6 yrs of age who LOVE the camera. These are the 4 beautiful little finalists. And they need your vote. I want to stress that this is NOT a beauty contest because clearly, each one of these girls is adorable! It just comes down to how many friends and family swing by the blog to vote! The lucky winner will receive a complimentary mini-session with wardrobe provided by www.madicouture.com…And the child will get to keep the fashionable jeans from the shoot as well as be a featured model on the Madi Couture website! I had a change of pace this morning. After a week of newborns, I switched gears and had a blast with this little man, who turns one very soon! Look out, 12 month old girls, this one will be a heartbreaker! He sure did love the hockey stick Mom brought!

  

This little newborn baby girl was all kinds of cute! I photographed Mom & Dad's wedding so it's extra special to capture this special time for them also! Nice seeing you L & J!

Today's little newborn cherub was the perfect subject. I couldn't have been luckier! She was so sleepy and I was thrilled to see she was as "posable" as a 7 day old baby!

The first of 3 newborns this week, Mr A. is four weeks exactly. He had his own ideas about sleeping/not sleeping, but he sure is a cutie!
