Oh my! I just loved this adorable six month old! She was full of personality and we tried out quite a few new tricks today, including these too cute Baby Legs and my new bath tub!

The deadline for photo submissions to the Little Beauties Contest will be extended to May 1st. A reminder, if you know any 3-8 yr old girls, submit them to be considered for a free session and package ASAP!

He does! The last time I saw this handsome little dude, he was 6 months old! We had fun at the train tracks, and then came back to my studio space to get some of these! He had his own ideas about what he wanted to do, but with a little bit of bribery, in the form of Smarties in his pockets, he stayed still long enough to get some sweet shots! My first dance mini-sessions were on Saturday and I thoroughly enjoyed it! I saw 11 children who all enjoyed playing dress up/ballerinas with me!

I had the pleasure of going on location in Winnipeg with today’s little newborn. Six weeks old, but her actual due date was in the last week or so, Talina was the PERFECT subject today. She was wonderful when she was awake and a nice deep sleeper for the tricky, sleeping poses. I couldn’t have asked for a more co-operative subject. N and J, thanks for having me at your home today! I seem to have had a run of newborn boys lately! Interesting story behind this little man, his mommy was here for a last minute ( literally ) maternity session and delivered him six hours after leaving here! She was in labour the whole time and never said anything! Next up…a preemie baby girl who is 6 weeks old, but wasn’t due until next week!

I have to say my first Beeautiful Babies Contest was a big hit! Literally! The total votes cast were 5341, pretty impressive when you think that people can only cast one vote from their home computer!To all of the participants, thank you for submitting your little ones! I can’t get over how cute everyone is! And on that note, I will be emailing all of you a gift certificate for future use with Karen Hunter Photography in the next few days!
Up next, Little Beauties 2008. I am looking for girls between the ages of 3 and 8. SO get those snapshots ready. I will be taking submissions starting today, through April 25th.
For now, the jetlag has hit me and I am done with today!

I had the pleasure of meeting 4 week old A today. He and his Mommy and I hung out all afternoon and he was a dream subject! Lots of great eye contact and expressions while he was awake, and lots of beautiful sleepy baby poses when he finally went to sleep! He let me "squish" him in some poses that a 4 week old usually doesn’t tolerate, so thanks for being so accomodating, Little Man!
Only three days left in the Voting for the Beautiful Baby contest! I can’t believe there have been 1900 votes cast so far, from places as far away as Finland, Nicaragua, Germany, France! You people have relatives all over the place! Get all those last minute votes in, because every one counts at this stage of the game!
Here is today’s little beauty! She came as part of my Dance Mini-Sessions. Lovely red curls and sparkly blue eyes, with a dash of mischief thrown in for good measure, she is a stunning angel!
