If you have a child who attends Janzen School of Dance in Stonewall ( or even if you don’t, but you like the idea of this set up ), I will be offering Dance Mini-Sessions on April 19th for those who prefer a more modern take on the dance photo. This will be a 15 minute session, including 2-5×7s and 8 wallets for $35.00. Other options such as Storyboards/Canvases will also be discounted. Sessions will be available from 9:30 am to 5 pm. Only 6 days until the deadline for the Beautiful Baby Contest officially closes! I have received several entries but would like to see a few more! Tell everyone you know who has a child under One year to send me a snapshot before the 31st of the month!
April’s Contest will be another Fresh Faces Poll, but this time I will be looking for girls between the ages of 3 and 8. It will be open to anyone who has not been to see me in the past 12 months, new clients or existing clients may submit entires starting April 1st…And I have lots of wonderful new little girl props/drops arriving in the next few days, so the winner of that session will have lots to choose from!
This 3 week old is no stranger to the camera, he was here 4 weeks ago for his Mama’s maternity session. P brought his 2 yr old sister to his newborn session and they were both as good as gold! The little man was quite alert in the beginning ( check out his pirate smile below ) , but toward the end he crashed and we got what we needed! Can’t wait to show you the rest of his session, Mom and Dad!

I am excited to announce my first ever Beautiful Baby Contest. The rules are easy & the result is rewarding!
This contest is for new clients only so if you are an existing client, feel free to pass this info along to someone you know who has a little one!
Here is all the important info.
1. All babies must be 0-12 M old.
2. Send one snapshot to me at khphotography@mts.net
All professional pictures do not count & cannot be submitted for consideration.
3.All entries must be emailed to me by March 31st.
4. Images will be posted on my Blog for 9 days so people can vote & the suspense can build.
5. The winner will receive a FREE portrait session & a special collection of prints & goodies.
6. The prize is valid until May 15th, 2008
So come on folks! Start spreading the word! 
Playing with some new gear today, including a fart machine ( she knows all my other tricks already! LOL ) and ended up with a few keepers…
Okay, well it’s my own fault and I may not get any sympathy, but I just have to say, I am sunburnt beyond belief right now! I had a two day layover in the Dominican Republic and I got a little carried away in the sun. In spite of my 30 SPF, I am head to toe crispy and didn’t sleep a MINUTE last night. I know this isn’t photo related, but I just had to get my whine out! LOL
What’s up for this week? My favourite age…a 6 month old on Friday! And my children are both celebrating birthdays this weekend so you may see some new ones of them!
I first met N when he was just a few weeks old and he slept through the entire session. Now he is 4 months old and wanted to sleep through this entire session too! LOL We did it in two parts, in order to fit in the much needed nap! I don’t think i have ever seen such clear blue eyes!
