Madi and her family were in town from Red Lake, Ontario to see High School Musical but their first stop was with me! I was so excited to try out my new green paper when I saw Madi’s beautiful green eyes! We rocked the house with Please Don’t Stop the Music ( by Rihanna ) until we literally couldn’t stop the music ( wink, wink, Shannon and James…the laptop is toast, btw, can’t even turn it on! ). I even got to try out using a hand held wind machine ( okay, it was really a hair dryer, couldn’t find my fan this time of year! ) to create some motion in the photos. Click any photo to see it larger!
And of course Little Sister wanted her turn in the spotlight too!
Meet the little brother of one of the first newborns I did, back in 2006! Shae is a big sister to an adorable, 3 week old, redheaded boy! He had his own ideas about this session, lots of yawns and hands in his face, right Mom? We won’t even mention the peeing!
LOL But, we won in the end and he fell asleep! This was also my first session with my newborn cocoon, I have one in pink for girls too!
I have some exciting things in the wings this week! Guess who has a meeting with Panache Modelling Agency in Winnipeg to discuss becoming a Preferred Photographer for their Children’s Division? Yep…Me! February 25th!
And….I am in the early stages of the process to begin building a studio on the back of my house! With any luck, it should be complete by the fall!!! Woo! Hoo! No more shooting in my cramped 9×12 basement space! Stay tuned for more info!
Also, did you know you can leave me comments and feedback by clicking on the Comments button at the bottom of each post? I would love to hear from you!
Two more mini-sessions today with adorable little girls I enjoyed so much!
I cannot get over the eyelashes on J! She wins the prize for most co-operative one yr old EVER!
Had such fun with her, Mom! Can’t wait to show you the rest of your gallery ( hopefully Satruday night by 10 pm! )
Next up, 2 yr old B. She has the most adorable curls! We found out she will do just about anything for Craisins and a Lollipop! LOL
