Busy day for me today! I had no fewer than 5 little subjects today! I started the day with 6 month old D and his sister T, who was my very first subject ever ( outside my own kids ) when she was born two years ago. Later in the day, Miss C and Miss J came for their photo session. What a beautiful bunch of kids! Possibly the easiest newborn session I have ever had, baby R slept through his entire shoot, we had to wake him up at the end so Mom and Dad could have some awake photos to choose from as well! This little man just loved snuggling into the soft blankets his Mommy and I had for him! So tiny,so squishy,so sweet…
Whew! What a week! I am slowly wading through my proofing of the six sessions I have done since Thursday of last week. Over the course of those sessions, I met the squishiest newborn baby boy I have ever worked with. Meet little N (a baby photographer’s dream subject ), who fell fast asleep at the end of his session and let me pose him anyway I wanted.
The same day I photographed the little baby above, I also did a newborn baby girl, who was one day younger than he was! She had the most beautiful Angelina Jolie lips! Such a pretty girl!
And Baby P brought her one year old cousin S along for his Xmas photos. How cute is he?
Earlier that day I had a great time with 8 month old G. She wasn’t sure about me and my camera, but she still gave us lots of wonderful shots to choose from!
This little cutie came all the way from Calgary for his one year photos. Quite possibly the best dressed one year old I have met so far!
And last but not least, three brothers I have photographed two years in a row now. They are always such a fun bunch! Wish I had some better jokes for you guys!

This afternoon, I met my tiniest client ever. Such a special girl, born in August but due to arrive next week! Home from the hospital since just Monday, she was ever so polite and co-operative today. Lots of love in her home to help her grow big and strong!

Well, it’s exciting to me anyway! I have just been asked to submit some photos (showcasing a certain Victorian Bench I bought from an American Photographic Props Company) for publication in a 2008 catalogue that will be widely distributed in the US and Canada! Okay, it’s not much, but I am flattered! LOL
Another delightful one year old came to see me today, extra special because I had done his newborn session and I used to babysit his Mommy! Isn’t he handsome???
I feel like the luckiest photographer in the world today! Yesterday I had the absolute joy of photographing a trio of beautiful sisters. And this morning I had a wonderful time photographing another little sweetie who is turning 5! I was just thinking, she is the same age her mom and I were when we met in kindergarten! Each of these girls was so co-operative and photogenic! I don’t know how their parents will choose!
We had a wonderful holiday in Florida, hard to say who had more fun…the kids or the adults!
November looks like it will be a busy month, the holidays are just around the corner and spaces are booking up quickly! I have so many sessions I am excited about in the next few weeks!
